These are our most popular rookie skates. Both of these are great starter skates from established skate companies with quality components required for Roller Derby.
The R3 tends to fit better for narrow feet, is a nylon boot and has a soft toe. A more streamline fit with less bill. The R3 Detby skate includes derby wheels, a toe cap and a starter tool. This fits 1.5 ti 2 sizes down from women's shoe size. Example if you are a women's shoe sz 7.5 or 8, you would order a sz 6 skate.
The Rebel is our top seller rookie skate. This skate runs wider than the R3, Is a genuine leather boot and has a lot of padding and a hard toe box. At first the Rebel will feel more snug but molds quickly to your foot. These fit 1.5 - 2 sizes down from women's shoe Still not sure which skate you'd like? 187 Fly Elbow Pad
This elbow pad is the ideal choice for skating and other action sports. Designed to fit properly, the slim profile does not compromise safety or protection.

Extra thick double splint protection, especially concentrated at the base of the hand.

Us vets remember when we used to wear huge mouthguard and oh how grateful we are to have found SISU. These offer extreme protection without the bulk. Heat molded to fit your teeth and still allow you to drink and talk with mouthguard in place, no more unnecessary penalties for taking your mouth guard out when trying to communicate on the track.
Dual certified derby approved helmet. For sizing please refer to lifer helmets. Package comes with solid black helmet. If you would like another available solid color, please specify choice of color in notes. If no color is specified helmet will be black. If you would prefer a Triple8 helmet instead we can also sub, just ask.

Fit: helmet should fit snug but not give you a head ache. Front should sit just above your eyebrows. You should be able to nod you let head up and down quickly with no movement of helmet. Most skaters wear the Standard lifer which is one size shell with multiple sizing liners to fit sz xs-xxxl. Helmet is also available in Mini, with a smaller size shell, or Mega with a larger size shell.
