Plates & Trucks
All of these plates come with aluminum trucks, medium hardness bushings and toe stops unless you order them otherwise.
Mounting hardware and axle nuts are sold separately below.
WE ARE A ROLL-LINE DEALER. Please call us for Roll-Line models and prices.
Plate sizes are not the same as boot sizes!
Check our
sizing chart to see what size plates you should
order for your boots.
Smaller plates (wheel base) tend to feel more agile for lateral movement and quick direction change, while longer plates are often perceived as more
stable and better for sustained speed. Many (but not all!) skaters decrease plate length as they become more advanced in derby.
If you don't know what size you need but you like how your current plates handle, you can send us the measurement from the center of your front axle to the center of your back
axle and we can match it, or adjust it longer or shorter according to your preferences. We pass that axle to axle length measurement on to the manufacturers to get the
appropriate size from them.

Mounting plates is tricky business. Its helpful
to have a centerline marking tool or diagram, and you must also have a drill
(to drill the soles of the boots), and a bolt break-off tool for the mounting kit bolts. If you don't
know what you're doing and you mount them a centimeter off, your balance will be seriously affected, and
you can roll your ankles or worse. We can get you everything but the drill, but please have someone
who knows what they're doing teach you how to do it first!
